In 2011, for the fourth year running, The Publishers Association collected data on book production from UK publishers. Over three quarters of the respondents (22 respondents representing 39 publishers) were able to provide output by weight , which totalled 267,280 tonnes in 2011. 86% (232,437) was produced on sustainable paper.
